About coaching

Coaching is not therapy, but it is therapeutic.

Coaching asks you to look for your growth edges and obstacles and offers you a way beyond them.

Coaching is a kind of “secret sauce” to fast forward your own human potential from within.

Coaching assumes the answers are already within you; you are not a problem to be solved.

Coaching celebrates your creative wisdom and helps you to access it.

Coaching is about bearing witness to your own hero’s journey returning to what has always been.

Coaching is about support for your boundaries and you wildest dreams.

Coaching in group offers you vertical as well as horizontal learning opportunities.

Caching normalizes the experience of being an imperfect human with unreasonable expectations of self and others.

Coaching offers ways to change your brain, your thoughts, the flavor of your experiences… in short your life.

Coaching is not a cure because being human is not a disease.

Coaching is flow, it’s connected improvisation serving your journey of growth and evolution.

Coaching is my calling and I hope it is also calling to you.

FYI

  • Coaching is not a regulated industry but many choose to train and become ICF certified

  • The ICF (International Coaching Federation) offers a code of ethics by which I and my colleagues abide

  • Coaches who are physicians are not practicing medicine when coaching you

  • Coaching is not a substitute for mental health support when self harm, delusion, or other serious symptoms are present and in need of attention.

FAQs

What is coaching?

  • Coaching is a strengths-based form of inquiry that assumes you are already whole and capable and know your own core values. Coaching can take many forms from health and wellness coaching to executive coaching to life design, parent, and grief coaching and about 1000 more flavors. It does not diagnose or treat and does not presume pathology. It holds space for your own creative wisdom and insights. It frees people from subconscious habitual ways of being or unnecessary limiting beliefs. In short it can be a tool for incredible growth and transformation.

  • When do people seek coaching?

    • People seek coaching at times of transition, times of challenge/ overwhelm and at times where an external thought partner is needed to help up-level something that’s already going great. For me, coaching is connecting with loving wisdom and JOY, providing a POINT from which SOLUTIONS arise.
